In 2017 To Indy, With Love organized Indy’s 1st Human Library
on behalf of the international organization in denmark.
Other To Indy, With Love experiences:
Over the span 6 hours, teens, families and adults from the Indianapolis public, had 70 + 1-on-1 conversations by "checking out" 25 local "human books." These "human readers" asked the "human books" questions about the stigma they experience due to stereotypes about their ethnicity, spirituality, mental health, life style, disabilities, jobs, romance and physical health.
As a result of this community educational experience to help neighbors challenge their assumptions, Indianapolis, IN, USA joined Human Libraries in 90 other countries worldwide
